Manned Unmanned Systems Integration Capability — MUSIC 2011
On September 16, 2011 the Program Executive Office (PEO) Aviation conducted the largest interoperability demonstration ever. CDL Systems played a key role in the exercise by enabling interoperability between the Gray Eagle, Shadow and Hunter UAS's via our software, VCS-4586. This ground control station software is installed in all the U.S. Army's UGCS's to help soldiers achieve thier missions.

Our Vehicle Control Station software (VCS) is installed in every U.S. Army One Systems Ground Control Stations (OSGCS) and Universal Ground Control Station (UGCS). Our software has amassed over 800,000 hours of operational use in theatre with the U.S. Army in tactical and ISR roles.
- MQ-1C Gray Eagle: Recently deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Gray Eagle is controlled by our standards-based VCS-4586 software to carry out tactical and ISR missions.
- RQ-7B Shadow 200: In service since 1998, our software has amassed over 700,000 hours of operational use in theatre commanding and control Shadow 200.
- MQ-5B Hunter: With over 80,000 hours of operational use, the Hunter B UAS has fulfilled the tactical and ISR requirements of the Army with our VCS software for Hunter.
- LEMV Airship: This persistent stare capability of the LEMV airship will provide round-the-clock ISR capability with over 16 sensors via our VCS-4586 software.
Target Control Station
The Universal Target Control Station (UTCS) is developed collaboratively by CDL Systems and Meggitt Training Systems Canada to control multiple air and sea-surface target-drones for military target training against asymmetric aerial and naval threats.
Loitering Munitions
Fire Shadow is a loitering munition weapon system, designed by MBDA Missile Systems, for the land domain, with an operating range of approximately 60 miles (100km). It offers precision attack capabilities against time-sensitive static and moving targets with minimal collateral damage.
