A standard for vehicle interoperability: STANAG 4586.

CDL Systems has been a leading participant in the development of the NATO STANAG 4856 since its inception in 1998. STANAG 4586 was conceived to facilitate multiple vehicle interoperability and information sharing between unmanned assets controlled by NATO counties. This has rapidly become one of the most highly recognized standards in the unmanned vehicle industry. Open and non-proprietary, STANAG 4586 is available and suited for use in both civil and military applications. As a leading member in the development of this standard, we have integrated it into VCS-4586, the world's first STANAG 4586 compatible control software. To learn more, click here.
